The Colonel, Lil Major and I made it home this afternoon. We were chomping at the bit this morning to get out of the hospital, and we were on the road by 11:30am.
Both Lil Major and I had to get checked out by multiple doctors, with promises of follow-up visits over the next week.
I'm SO exhausted. The little pipsqueak didn't sleep a wink last night, and so neither did we. My eyes are closing and my head is nodding as I type this. I promise more updates in the next day or so.
Thanks so much to my sis, Jana, for updating you with my crazy life over the last week. She did an amazing job!
Here are a few photos as my attempt to appease you for a bit.
Our Little Major makes his debut...
Look at all that curly hair! Just like his daddy (used) to have.
Wearing the shirt Aunt Jana made for him:

I want to make some nonsensical cooing and gooing noises at that little cutie!
Congratulations and I'm so glad he got to come home with you!
Yay!!!!!! I've been dying for picts. You must have been dying to get home. Now you're exhausted! :) I will keep praying for you guys. Lil Major is so precious. Does he have your lips/mouth?
I checked all day yesterday to see if pictures were up yet, and then I missed it! :-( Glad to see everything is well, sorry I couldn't be there to meet him in person and to give hugs. Chelf gives hers too! Congratulations, and can't wait to get there to love on that cutie! :-)

He's so cute! Looks a lot like daddy! So glad you are home and doing well. Can't wait to meet you, Jackson!
Congrats! He is adorable!!!
Awww! What a sweetie! Congratulations. That looks like one proud papa in that picture:o)
Yea!!! So glad you are home now! Lil' Major is SO sweet! Hope you can all get the rest you need. I remember people always saying to me, "Oh, they're at that stage where they sleep all the time." And I'd be thinking, "Oh yeah? Then why am I so TIRED?!"
Hugs!!
yeah!! can't wait to hear and see more!
YEAH!!!! I'm so glad everything and everybody ended up okay.
But take it from someone who knows,
take it easy. As soon as you push yourself too hard you'll be back to square one. Learn to let people help you=) You'll be back to yourself before you know it.
I can't wait to see more pics!!
I agree with Lorie! Let your mom and Colonel do everything for you around the house and with the baby (except holding him and feeding him of course). You will feel so much better if you do. Trust me on that! A c-section is major surgery! Oh and beware of any clothes that push even a little on your scar....even when you feel totally healed. The wrong pair of undies made me feel like I had had surgery all over again :)
Oh yeah....I forgot to say how precious he is!
Thanks, everyone! We are enjoying our little pipsqueak very much. He got his first bath tonight, but he didn't enjoy it as much as I did. =)
I'm healing well, and very glad that The Colonel is off work for another week and that mom and dad are here to help!
