Little Major is 14 weeks old already! And he's growing so fast. He started a wonderful habit not too long ago -- SLEEPING! He sleeps about 10-12 hours at night now. He may wake up a couple times because he flipped over to his back from his tummy and he can't get back. And I usually wake him up before I go to bed to feed him, and then he returns the favor by waking me up between 5 and 6am to eat again. But, the total is about 11 hours. Woo-eee! I'm loving it. But, he also insists on napping after every feeding. I know I've complained about not getting anything done around the house before, and now that he's sleeping so much, I can get stuff done...but I miss him while he's sleeping. Am I a freak or what?? This little boy has totally wormed his way into my heart, and I go through withdrawls after only an hour...how am I ever going to go back to work??
He's obviously found his way into his Daddy's heart because The Colonel is already working on Lil Major's first train set...
I realized I hadn't taken any pictures in a few days, so while the kiddo was playing on his mat this afternoon, I started snapping away...
Hi Lucy...
Ok, Mom, enough pictures already.
I told you, Mom, enough!!
Here he is watching the all too enthralling Baby Einstein in his bumbo seat.

ooooooooooooooohhhh! He's so cute and so big....how can he be big enough to watch Baby Einstein!!!!!!
(My kids had that same expression when they watched them. Ha!)
OMG! He is honestly one of the cutest babies I have seen! What a doll!
adorable; I'm pretty partial to the goofy face/crying pics of babies so I love that last one!
he is just too cute! i'm so glad he is sleeping through the nights now. is he sleeping in his crib in his room or do you keep him in your room?
HURRAY FOR A GOOD NIGHT'S REST! ...and Baby Einstein is enthralling.
Major is so dang cute. And he's off and running on the skills, man! He holds himself up nice and tall on his tummy. But what should we expect from such smart, good-looking parents???
Aww, you guys are so sweet, but I have to agree -- he's pretty stinkin' cute!
Shell - he's sleeping in his room now. i moved him in there about 4 weeks ago. He's doing great in his room, but I ended up putting the pack and play back together in there b/c he sleeps better in it than his crib - at least for now, go figure!
Um, Sam is almost 10 months old, and I STILL miss him when he sleeps!!! I go in his room a MILLION times during the night... you know, to pet him and kiss him. And then my husband gets peeved when I "accidently" wake Sam up... so then I HAVE to pick him up and cuddle with him... :)
Your little guy is so darling. Can't wait to really "meet" when you get here next month!
I can see so much of the Colonel in that first picture. How cute!
I would imagine that you will miss him when he is even a few feet from you... part of that having him so close for so long while pregnant. I hear it gets easier over time.
What kind of camera do you have? You have such a great subject, but you get really great pictures.
wow, sounds like he's sleeping better than Ollie! and Ollie still is completely and totally enraptured by baby mozart. it's my crutch if i need to get ready in the morning or cook dinner.
i'm just getting caught up on all your posts...he looks as cute as can be in his GI Joe shirt with blanket!!!
and i'm so glad you got part-time work!
Chelf - it's just a little Canon - a little one that fits in your pocket. It does ok, but I would rather turn the flash off, but those shots of the baby are always blurry. i just take advantage of my sis and her digital SLR when she's around. THAT takes really good pictures!
How AWESOME that he's sleeping so much at night now!!! I love all the pictures.
And WHERE were bumbo seats when I had babies? Those look SO cool!
So cute!!! And could he LOOK ANYMORE LIKE THE COLONEL??? OMG!!!
He's so cute. Do you think he looks like his cousin?
He definitely looks like The Colonel...and I think he's starting to look more like his cousin -- it's those cheeks and super cute smile!
