ME: We can't, it's broken, it will fall apart if we move it.
MOM: Well, you need a new table then.
ME: Let's check craigslist.
Four hours later, there was a new (to me) solid maple table sitting in my breakfast nook.
I'm starting to think that The Colonel is right about his "billfold getting lighter every time mom is around." hee hee
My beloved, but broken, red ceramic pedestal table, which was also a steal as I bought the floor sample from Timeless Furnishings, has been chucked to the side...
to make room for my new, albeit smaller, table...bought at the bargain price of $30!
