I'm so tired...

that in the middle of the night when Lil Major started crying, I reached over and tried to pick up Lucy (my furry child) and put her over my shoulder to burp her. I couldn't figure out why all of a sudden Lil Major had doubled in weight!

We had a long night. Can you bottle baby gas and sell it as natural gas?? We have a TON of it around here!

That is pretty funny. Sorry to hear you are so tired. Lucy and I are just hanging out all weekend, so give us a call if you want to hang out, or we'll watch Major while you nap :)

They use cow gases, I can't see why they wouldn't want to use baby gas!

Poor kiddo. Baby Gas Drops. Miracle in a little dropper, let me tell you. I hope you find something that works for you both.

It always helped me to remember that it will get better. I'm sure that before you know it Lil Major will be sleeping longer and longer stretches. But I'll be thinking of you. I don't miss that zombie like feeling.

I remember one time I forgot to move Hudson out of bed after I fed him because we both were asleep. So later in the night I went to put my arm around and pet something that I thought was Nala and it was actually Hudson! I was so used to having Nala sleep with me!

Just wait until you realize that Lucy no longer feels heavy compared to Lil Major...

I'm laughing out loud... I can't tell you how many nights those first few weeks I bolted up and started flailing in the covers because I thought I'd fallen asleep nursing and I'd suffocated the baby and lost him in the sheets. I was seriously freaked. Turns out he was sleeping like a baby in the bassinet next to me...

Is it wierd I kind of miss those times? The newness... the excitement... and yes, the exhaustion. It really does pass by so quickly, it is hard to remember that they actually did happen!

You'll get through it... Mylocone and Prevacid were our best friends for many many months! :)
