My eyes well up...

There are several movies that make me cry every single time that I watch them...and I've watched them many many many times.

Right now I'm watching Mr. Holland's Opus on TV, and I cry EVERY time that he opens the auditorium doors and walks into his retirement celebration.

I also cry every time I watch Beaches, Steel Magnolias, Top Gun (when Goose dies), The Notebook, and West Side Story.

I bet I've seen some of those movies more than 15 times...and I still cry. What's up with that?

What movies make you cry?

Mr Holland's Opus!!! I love that movie and always cry at the auditorium scene...

I also cry several times during RUDY...

Oh yeah, Rudy gets me, too. And so does Remember the Titans.

There are like 7-8 different scenes in RUDY that tear me up and I am at the point I cry before I get to the actual scene, in sheer anticipation.. I am sooo pitiful!!

Well, Mom up there (love bears..) listed ones for me, too. I loves me a good cry! I like to go to the theater to see a good chick flick, ALL BY MYSELF. Sometimes I'm the only one in the theater and I can bawl like a baby.

the one with Michael Keaton dying of cancer and leaving a video diary for his unborn child; Dead Poet's Society, Steel Magnolias and I think I could go on and on; I'm a sap!

Oh man, I forgot about Dead Poets, and the Michael Keaton one is My Life -- I'd forgotten about that, too.

And, although it's not a chick flick, I probably cried the most through The Passion.

Oh, the list is crazy long. I cry at almost anything nowadays... I don't even have anything I can blame, I am just a waterworks woman.

Beaches. You've Got Mail. An Affair to Remember. Princess Bride. (Does it count if I am laughing so hard that I cry?)

I cry at some songs at church, too. I can't get through a couple, and I feel really silly. But, you know, God gave his life for me, and that must have hurt. (Noting that The Passion was on the list) I can cry for that without shame.
