My Sister, My Friend

My sis made it into the local library yesterday and emailed me all the photos we took during our visit. I had a wonderful time with her! We realized that this was the first vacation we'd had together, just the 2 of us. Sis and I have very strong personalities...and they're different from each other (big surprise!). That means that we disagree often...but we both agree that we love each other very much. And I'm so glad she's my LITTLE sis, and it was so fun to spend some quality time together.

I'm so looking forward to being an auntie to her little boy, and I'm praying that she gets to move close enough to me that I can see her and her family often. I love you Naner!

Here's sis w/ my new nephew...only a couple more months!!

This is the view from the deck of the lake house...we went out to watch the sunset and play a friendly (yeah, right!) game of Canasta.

Then sis got artistic with the camera and had me pose. We were down on the dock where we tried to hitch hike a ride on a boat.

Here's the house (and the pups on the deck) looking up from the dock. It's an awesome house with awesome views!

Here are sis's dogs, Rudy and TG (That Guy). They like hanging out on the deck, too.

After my extended weekend, I felt relaxed and ready to come back and face the world (too bad that feeling is already gone). Thanks for a great weekend, sis!

What a lovely home your sis has. It seems like the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend.

You know what? Naner is just one of my youngest dd's many nicknames. I think maybe she has so many nicknames because she's the baby. Na, Na-Na, Naner, Nonny, and there are plenty that don't have anything to do with her actual name (Naomi), too.

I'm glad you liked the video. Really takes ya back, huh?

yay that you got your pics up and everything! i'm still way behind on the blogging thing and the internet guy is STILL at the house trying to overcome obstacles and get our high speed connected - sigh. He's been there since 9am . . .it's now 2:15 pm! grr.

love you!
