A few nights ago, Mema came over to help us give Lil Major his first bath. We ended up with a clean kid, but an angry one.
Why do I have to get naked?? Don't I get any sympathy for that bandaid on my foot??
Well, this is alittle better...at least I'm covered up.
Never mind, I still don't like it...are we done yet??
Today was a little less traumatic. We just hung out in the boppy (Thanks, Aunt Agnes!)

Oooohhhh...he is SO sweet!! My kids always screamed during their baths too...hated 'em!
Okay, and I HAVE to say that he looks so much like his daddy! All my boys take after their daddy too. (Doesn't really seem fair, does it...after carrying them for all those months and going through labor and delivery...) :)

I remember Finn's first bath--we only had 2 inches of water. Finn was freezing cold and it took us forever--it is sooo painful watching it on video:)

The first time Mark felt Samuel kick is when he was singing Michael Jackson to my belly. So I kind got a thing for any kid who likes 'Ol MJ. Too adorable!
THIS is why I was so excited when you announced your pregnancy on your blog because I knew we would be getting posts just like this. I love the one in his towel with the kinda distressed face. Soooo cute! Lil' Major's gift is almost ready. See if he would've come on time I'd have been early, hope to send it early next week. :o)
I may have to watch 13 Going On 30 tonight... just to see the Thriller dance again. That is so funny!

Looks like he has gained a little already. Most babies dislike being unclothed at first. Its the whole big open space thing.

I have a book recommendation for you. Shortly after Snuggle Bug arrived, my husband got me the book, "Love You Forever" by Robert Munch. I cried the first time I read it through (it's about a mother and her beloved son). Now that my son is 3 years old, he asks for me to read it to him and he sings along with the phrase that is repeated throughout the book (I always sing it to him).
I'm behind, but WOW he looks so much like his daddy!!!
