Feels like 8 degrees

That's what weather.com says right now for Wichita. It's 26 degrees, but feels like 8.

And if I look out the window of our office, I see cars covered in ice, and the ground is shiny...and as the KS natives explained to this CA girl...that means there's ice on the ground!

I didn't own an ice scraper until our receptionist braved the weather at lunch and went out and bought me one. As I sit here typing this, I can hear the ice pellets (I'm told it's not hail...there's a difference, who knew??) hitting the sky light above my head...I'm FREAKING out about having to drive home in this...I don't know how to drive in ice and snow...have I said that before??

I will be leaving VERY early to try to avoid the traffic rush to get home...and I predict I will be sick tomorrow when it's snowing non-stop...I can check email and work from home just as easily as I can from the office!

YIKES! GOOD LUCK!

Its been in the 60's here and today it FINALLY started raining. However, tonight the temps fall BIGTIME and it will turn to snow.

It's pouring rain right now, but warm out. If it were freezing, well, lets just say we would have 10 inches of snow on the ground already.
