Ok, I'll own up...I KNEW that was from something, but I couldn't quite remember...even though Seinfeld reruns play in my house for 4 hours EVERY DAY! Hubby sometimes thinks he's Kramer...giddy up!
There's another version of that prayer that goes like this:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill because they pissed me off.
Aw, I know the feeling girl! I really do. You can find serenity in the simplest of things, trust me. The key is to NOT look for them persay. Just find it in the simple everyday things:)

i've used this prayer when i've needed some extra strength:
god, grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change,
the courage to change the things i can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
just repeating that over and over helps me with stressful situations and restores my calm.

Thank G for this one ! :-)
Hmm...shell's version sounds like the way to TRUE serenity, but suezque's sounds more like what I would LIKE to do.
All these crazy frustrations are doing GREAT things for my butt...I think I've spent 8 hours in the gym this week already! =)
